Our Thoughts Sunday Aug 16, 09 Mafia Wars Addict Mafia Wars on Facebook. Mafia Wars. Ok, I am a Mafia Wars addict. The first step is admitting it. So I am going to blog about it to maybe share some of the hints and secrets that I have discovered over the months that I have spent wasting on it. So hopefully you will learn something and all my time won't be for nothing. At least I will use that for my justification. Ok, first you should know that I started playing mafia wars a while ago... before there was Cuba, and before you could master any job tiers. The only real bonus available was sometimes the bank would waive the bank fees, or you got extra points for leveling up, depending on which days you were playing on. This was like 9 months ago. So in these long months I have learned a couple of thing, which I will share with you now. 1) First before you start with Mafia Wars, know that it will become addictive. Most people that I know that play, either spend way too much time on it (like me) or play it for a week and don't touch it again. So, if you dont have much time on your hands, maybe try something else, you'll thank me later. 2) If you insist on playing, then here are some of the things you should know, as common decency. First, Mafia Wars likes to tell people what you are doing in the game, what you have in your wish list, what your numbers are in the daily lottery and a whole lot more. Mafia wars tells everyone, your mafia friends, your other friends, your mom, everyone. Most people don't enjoy this. It fills up your wall with stupid posts, Like this guy Most people don't like this and some will de-friend you over it. You don't want to loose some of your regular friends over a stupid game now do you, It is so easy to avoid. Hit the skip button when it asks you to post the event. Also sometimes it will pop up in the bottom right hand corner of your screen telling you that it is going to inform who ever helped you out on the mission / fight, that they have a reward... truth is, they get their reward anyway, they dont need to click anything to get it and it just pisses people off.
